Dear Student,
Welcome to College of International Culture (CIC), South China
Normal University (SCNU)!
Firstly, please allow me to avail myself of this opportunity
to express my sincere welcome to you on behalf of the college
and myself. I wish and also believe that you will have a good
time here.
For a long time South China Normal University has been one of
the bases of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. CIC is originated
from the former division of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,
which was established 17 years ago and affiliated to Department
of Foreign Affairs. The students are generally from Japan, Korea,
France, Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa, the US, Germany, and
other dozens of countries. The accumulated number of students
is more than four thousands. Meanwhile, we have enjoyed wide communications
and cooperation with countries from almost all parts of the world.
Thank you for selecting our college to study, and the facts to
come into being will prove that your selection is correct. In
such an environment as is created by us for you, it will not be
a big surprise that you will find that the accomplishment of your
personal efforts is doubled.
In addition, if you come into any trouble or problems in terms
of your study or daily life, please feel no hesitation to contact
us. We are very pleasant to help you with them. The door of the
International Office is always open for you.
