Welcome:why Guangzhou should be your first choice
Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, the metropolis in South China, is in the center of Pearl Delta which is one of the three most booming economic areas in China, and with Hong Kong and Macao in its vicinity. Guangzhou boasts a mountain ( Baiyun Mountain ) and a river ( Pearl River ), enjoying favorable climatic and geographical conditions. It also enjoys the semi-tropical climate and no bitter cold days in the winter.

The figure of GDP of Guangzhou in 2003 is No.1 among the sub-provincial cities in China. In 1998-2003, GDP of Guangzhou has increased from RMB 184.161 billion to RMB349.688 billion yuan, up 13.5% than previous year annually. The growth rate of GDP of Guangzhou is 6.5 percentage and 1.4 percentage more than that of the average nationally and provincially. The steady and fast economic growth has consolidated the development force of Guangzhou and enhanced its regional status, which make it one of the several cities which are open to the outside to the largest extent. In fact Guangzhou has already been the center of business, finance, communication, culture, science and technology in the south of China.

Guangdong is also renowned for its primary position its occupies in China’s export market thanks to its hosting of Chinese Export Commodities Fair (Known also as Canton Fair) which is held twice a year in late April and late October. The Fair has been ongoing for around half a century. The Fair serves as a historical witness to the development of China's foreign trade, it has faithfully recorded the pace of the country's growth. Around 167.9 thousand businessmen have visited the 96th Session and the Fair witnesses an aggregate amount of deals of US$ 272 billion at this session. Both of the number of the businessmen and the amount of deals has set up a new record. According to the statistic standard of German Exhibition Committee, thanks to the 250,000 square meters exhibition area it occupies, the Canton Fair, also well known as ‘the first exhibition of China’, has won the third place among the annual exhibitions in the world.

Guangzhou also enjoys its superb position geographically. It is next to Hong Kong, which is one of the three biggest financial centers in the world together with New York and Frankfurt. It's also one of the three gold trade centers besides London & Zurich of Switzerland. Functioning as a hub of communications in the Pacific-Asian areas, Linking Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and also as a port of transshipment between America and South east -Asia. Hong Kong is economically a bridge connecting a large part inner China to the world.
